In particular, it is Comviva's EHS policy to -
- Meet the requirements of the two management systems ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 via a well documented policy, development and support processes and work instruction / guidelines
- Follow a common and consistent methodology for all processes, which is identified and takes cognizance of environment, health and safety impact, and adopt a consistent approach in management / mitigation of these identified risks and impacts
- Meet all environment, health & safety requirements at all locations where ever we do business in the country
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and contractual requirements
- Provide a safe and healthy environment to our employees, contractors and other visitors to our sites
- Reduce waste, conserve energy, and promote recycling of materials wherever possible
- Ensure continual improvement through participation of various stake holders to protect our environment and safeguards our partners from any unacceptable risks
- Analyze and eliminate or control the EHS risks of new and existing office setups
- Continually report progress and key issues to senior leaders and relevant stakeholders and follow a structured process for root cause evaluation and implementation of corrective / preventive measures
