GSMA
Founded in 1987, GSMA aims to ensure that mobile phones and wireless services work globally and are easily accessible, enhancing their value to individual customers and national economies, while creating new business opportunities for operators and their suppliers. The Association's members serve more than 3 billion customers – over 85% of the world's mobile phone users. Much of the GSMA's work is focused on two areas: Emerging services and emerging markets. To this end, the GSMA helps its members develop and launch new services and is also heavily engaged in the industry’s push to extend basic voice and text services to more people in emerging markets.

The Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI)
The Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) is a not-for-profit industry body with a mandate to expand and enhance the online and mobile value added services sectors. The association addresses the issues, concerns and challenges of the Internet and Mobile economy and takes a leading role in its development. The IAMAI in the only specialized industry body in India representing the interests of online and mobile value added services industry.

Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF)
The Mobile Entertainment Forum is the global trade association for the mobile media industry and aims to drive mobile entertainment adoption, shape regulation and deliver competitive advantage to its members. MEF’s activities and membership have both a global reach and a local influence: key activities include lobbying on industry issues, providing comment and analysis, as well as organising educational briefings and networking events. The MEF puts together a programme of initiatives to bring together industry leaders to progress opportunities, track trends and tackle industry challenges.

Mobile Payment Forum of India (MPFI)
MPFI provides a forum to share and discuss the leanings, opportunities and constraints (including regulatory issues) of enabling mobile payments in India. MPFI also aims to identify and advise the enablers for implementing mobile payment systems. It also aims to guide banks, telecom organizations, the government and others within the mobile payments ecosystem.
