Comviva Mobile Data Platform (MDP), is a comprehensive data suite offering Acceleration, Optimization, Smart Caching, Video caching, P2P Caching, Policy & Bandwidth Management, DPI based profiling and inline billing.

Comviva's MDP is compliant with the latest and advanced mobile broadband standards such as 3GPP / RAN and includes 3 different components:

• Policy Charging & Rules Function (PCRF) module enables operators to improve their entire data network capacity, efficiency and performance by dynamically controlling network resources with real-time policies based on service, subscriber, and usage context.
• Policy Charging & Enforcement Function (PCEF) is a network efficiency centric policy enforcement and bandwidth management solution engineered to inspect, adapt and enforce policies across an all-encompassing set of variables, thereby increasing the operator's revenue stream.
• Mobile Internet Gateway (MIG) acts as an acceleration, optimization and personalization engine of MDP's architecture, helping operators provide faster, smoother, highly personalized and consistent mobile web browsing experience to subscribers.
