Monica Jasuja is a Vice President at Comviva and heads the Product Management for the company’s flagship Mobile Financial Solutions division. She and her team are deeply involved in building next-generation digital financial platforms that delivers exceptional scale and value to the payments industry.Monica brings to the table multiple years of extensive work experience across four geographies. A consumer-focused product management professional with techno-commercial proficiency, she has efficaciously designed, developed and launched products that delivered remarkable value. Armed with excellent team building capabilities, she has been successful in growing and scaling high-performance teams and leading several cross functional units, including Product Management, Business Development, UX Design and Experience, Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Operations, spanning Fortune-500 companies and emerging start-ups.Prior to Comviva, she worked at MasterCard India in multiple roles over six years. She rose amongst the ranks during this time, from managing a product line to heading digital payments. Her last role in this company was spearheading a new vertical for large digital players and emerging fintechs, whilst leading initiatives across sales, business development, product and other cross-functional areas, such as Legal, Marketing and Policy. Prior to this stint, she worked with PayPal as a product manager for global Initiatives, managing various product lines for nearly a decade. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Delhi University and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.Outside the boardroom, championing diversity in the workforce is a cause near to her heart. With a sharp emphasis on lessening the gender gap at the workplace, she has rallied around multiple causes such as #WomenAtWork, #Girls4Tech and STEM. She is, in fact, a vocal advocate and change agent for the #NoMoreManels Movement, aimed at creating gender-balanced thought leadership panels and ensuring diversity at thought leadership forums. She is a well-known online influencer and featured in the top 10 of Women in Finance Power 100 / Fintech Finance GOLD Power List, which recognizes top Fintech influencers globally.
