The Association’s members serve more than 3 billion customers – over 85% of the world’s mobile phone users. Much of the GSMA’s work is focused on two areas: Emerging services and emerging markets. Mobile Payment Forum of India (MPFI)
MPFI provides a forum to share and discuss the leanings, opportunities and constraints (including regulatory issues) of enabling mobile payments in India. MPFI also aims to identify and advise the enablers for implementing mobile payment systems. It also aims to guide banks, telecom organizations, the government and others within the mobile payments ecosystem.
